Overview

You will study the following topics;

  • Anatomy and physiology of the hand and nail
  • Preparing for nail enhancement services
  • Apply nail enhancements
  • Health and Safety procedures

Within the course you will learn how to prepare the nails for nail enhancements. You will apply and blend nail tips, followed by application of acrylic (liquid and powder) to enhance and extent the nails. Your practical skills are develop on a hand trainer and fellow students, and once a level of competency is developed you will refine your skills working on clients. You will complete the course by building a portfolio of assessment including pre observations, a written assignment and a graded practical observation.

Entry Requirements

You will need a manicure and pedicure qualification.

There are five fully equipped beauty clinics and a Spa, providing you with a professional working environment.
