Teaching and learning methods

Teaching includes a range of demonstrations, practical sessions (realistic work environment) and practise workshops. The basis of the assessment system is to provide evidence that shows you can work to a performance standard. Assessments for Level 2 are carried out by an assessor observing your practical work, oral questioning, and projects and on-line tests. You will be given guidance by your tutor on the various types of evidence that can be used.

You will be expected to ensure that you have a range of clients or models for all practical classes on which to develop your skills and carry out assessments. On-line examinations will contribute to your course work.
