“I recommend Exeter College to anybody with an aspiration to get somewhere. The network is incredible, I’ve met tonnes of people since I started here. The teaching here is also outstanding. The staff are all very passionate about what they do and this shows through the results.

I’ve really enjoyed the ability to practice at college – I’ve found that I’m practicing close to four hours each day on week days. After I finish college, I will be moving to London to hopefully study Jazz Performance at the Royal Academy of Music or the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After this, I would love to move to New York to study a postgraduate degree in Jazz at the Juilliard School of Music.”

My favourite part of college was definitely my music classes. Getting to work with other musicians and write and create music together was so much fun, I really miss it! I loved our final performance at the Exeter Phoenix, it was a special and memorable show.

“I travel by train and find the journey really useful to get work done and I get time to see my mates who aren’t on my course. I am very happy I was able to come here. I think Exeter College is worth the travel because it offers so much more than other colleges and sixth forms nearby can, such as extra-curricular activities, the close relationships with teachers that you can make and also the freedom going to a college in a city where the campuses are spread around really makes a difference.”
