Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship

As a Multi-Channel Marketer you will define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to reach, engage with and retain customers, promoting a product or service.

Overview

This Apprenticeship is aimed at those looking to start a career in Marketing, and job roles such as Digital Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Co-ordinator, Campaign Executive, Social Media Executive, Content Co-ordinator and more. Learners should be business-minded, with an interest in market trends.

Topics include:

  • Target audience (customer segmentation)
  • Customer lifecycle
  • How to effectively reach your target audience
  • Marketing strategy and communication
  • SEO and the web
  • Fundamentals of coding

Apprentices will need to be working towards and achieve the following job role requirements before their End Point Assessment (EPA):

  • Contributes towards marketing execution and strategy
  • Has involvement in the companies social media channels
  • Has the avenue to run a marketing campaign
  • Reviews, monitors and analyses online activity
  • Applies at least two of the following specialist areas: search marketing, search engine optimisation, email marketing, web analytics and metrics, mobile apps and Pay-Per-Click

This Apprenticeship is for you if you have a creative mind, are interested in market trends and are confident using IT. You should also be business minded and analytical.

Next steps: On completion you may consider developing your skills in a specialist area, including the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship, Project Manager Apprenticeship or Software Development Technician Apprenticeship. Alternatively, you could go straight into full time employment.

Entry Requirements

Every employer is different and therefore the entry requirements can vary. As a guide, you ideally need GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths. However, we will work with you and provide additional support to help you achieve their requirements, either prior to your Apprenticeship or during the delivery of your programme.

Apprentices have access to all facilities across the College. These include the College Learning Resource Centres (LRCs) and the College Gym.
