Business Administrator – Advanced Apprenticeship
This Advanced Apprenticeship is aimed at individuals working in a business administration role within any industry.

The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.
The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills. The business administrator is also expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills, decision-making and the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others.

Next steps… Apprentices can progress onto Degree Level Apprenticeships, Higher Technical Qualifications and full time employment.
- Entry Requirements
You will usually have completed the Level 2 Apprenticeship to progress on to the Advanced Apprenticeship. You need to have a job working in an business environment. Every employer is different and therefore the entry requirements can vary.
As a guide you ideally need GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths. However, we will work with you and provide additional support in order to help you achieve the functional skills element or GCSE requirements of the Apprenticeship.
Support can be delivered either prior to your Apprenticeship via a traineeship or during the delivery of your programme.
You will have access to a Learning Resource Centre. There is a refectory in Victoria House.
