A Hospitality Manager Apprentice will work in a variety of organisations focusing on ensuring excellent customer experience.
Topics include:
- Understand how to use relevant operating models to help achieve the vision and objectives of hospitality businesses and how these are used
- Know how to identify potential risks to people and the business and how to plan for and minimising the impact
- How to manage your talent and empower your team
- Understand the responsibilities of an employer and the importance of appropriate decision-making
- Determine the customer service journey
- Understand the impact of service failure on hospitality and develop successful service recovery strategies
- Use a wide range of management and leadership skills to motivate and inspire others
- Understand the ethos of a diverse and inclusive culture
Example job roles include: Food and Beverage Manager/House Keeping Manager/Front Office Manager/Revenue Manager/Conference and Events Manager/Hospitality Outlet Manager/Kitchen Manager/Multi-Functional Manager.

Future steps: You may wish to continue studying at a higher level within Hospitality or with a Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship.
- Entry Requirements

Every employer is different and therefore the entry requirements can vary. As a guide, you ideally need GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths. However, we will work with you and provide additional support to help you achieve their requirements, either prior to your Apprenticeship via a pre-Apprenticeship or during the delivery of your programme.
- Facilities

Apprentices have access to all facilities across College. These include the College Learning Resource Centres (LRCs) and the College Gym. In particular, hospitality Apprentices have access to purpose built kitchens and restaurant.
