This course is geared towards individuals aged 18 and above who have achieved at least 4’s for GCSE Maths & English/FS2 and looking to advance their career in hospitlaity management.
Hospitality managers work across a huge variety of organisations including bars, restaurants, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels and contract caterers. These managers generally specialise in a particular area, however their core knowledge, skills and behaviours are aligned. Common to all managers in this role is their passion for exceeding customers’ expectations.
Hospitality managers have a high level of responsibility and are accountable for fulfilling the business vision and objectives which requires excellent business, people and customer relation skills. Individuals in this role are highly motivated team leaders that combine a talent for management and specific industry skills and thrive on the customer facing nature of the role

Apprentices will need to be working towards and achieve the following job role requirements before their end point assessment:
- Manage finance and minimise costs
- Analyse, interpret and evaluate product / service sales and / or productivity data and information
- Identify potential risks to people and the business
- Communicate and engage with people and teams
- Determine the customer service journey and understand how to meet expectations
- Actively seek, analyse and evaluate customer feedback
- Understand the management and leadership styles and skills required in a hospitality business environment
- Lead by example to promote business and social responsibility
Next steps: You may wish to continue studying at a higher level within Hospitality or with a Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship.
- Entry Requirements

Every employer is different and therefore the entry requirements can vary. As a guide, you ideally need GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths.
If you are 19 or over, functional skills are not required unless requested by the apprentice’s employer.
However, we will work with you and provide additional support to help you achieve their requirements, either prior to your Apprenticeship via a pre-Apprenticeship or during the delivery of your programme.
- Facilities

Apprentices have access to all facilities across College. These include the College Learning Resource Centres (LRCs) and the College Gym. In particular, hospitality Apprentices have access to purpose built kitchens and restaurant.
