This programme allows you to progress to a more senior role in accountancy and gain a formal diploma in accounting. The programme enables you to learn, develop and practice your skills, gaining theoretical knowledge a competency based qualification in accounting and finance.
Learners will be in the workplace 4 days a week and in College 1 day. Learners also have to compete a portfolio of work-based evidence and an End Point Assessment to show competence in the standards to gain their Apprenticeship certificate.
You will practise:
- Applied Management Accounting
- Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements
- Internal Accounting Systems and Controls
Optional units will include:
- Business Tax
- Personal Tax
- Cash and Financial Management
- Credit and Debt Management
You will benefit from links with companies across Devon and gain invaluable skills within industry.
Next steps: This course will launch you directly into the workplace and provides an excellent way to build your career and progress to further training or full time work. You could continue to study at a higher level to achieve chartered status.
