Funding Options

Funding from September 2025 onwards

For up to Level 2

OPTION A – Fully Funded For ages 19-23

If you will meet one or more of the following conditions you may be eligible:

  • You are aged 19-23 and have not previously completed a full Level 2 qualification (typically less than five GCSE grades A to E)

OPTION B – Fully Funded For ages 19+

If you will meet one or more of the following conditions you may be eligible:

  • You are currently unemployed and/or receiving benefits
  • You are on a personal income of less than £25,750

OPTION C – Co-Funded

If you are aged 19+, and don’t meet the criteria for OPTIONS A or B you might be entitled to a 50% contribution for your course fees.

For Level 3 and above

OPTION A – FULLY FUNDED FOR AGES 19-23

If you have not completed a full Level 3 qualification, you may be eligible.

What classes as a full Level 3 qualification:

  • 4 AS Levels or more
  • 2 A Levels or more
  • A Technical, or applied general qualification at Level 3 (e.g 90 Credit Diploma, Diploma, Extended Diploma)
  • A T-Level at Level 3
  • Access to Higher Education Diploma
  • Core Maths at Level 3

OPTION B – FULLY FUNDED For Ages 19+

If you will meet one or more of the following conditions you may be eligible:

  • You are currently unemployed and/or receiving benefits
  • You are on a personal income of less than £25,750

Advanced Learner Loan

All other adults who do not qualify for OPTION A and B can obtain a loan to cover the fees for courses with this option available.

Anyone aged 19+ is eligible for the Advanced Learner Loan.
