Overview

This award is designed for Learners who maintain, and repair vehicles fitted with ADAS technology. It contains the skills and knowledge required to carry out calibration of ADAS sensors. This includes systems for driver safety, pedestrian safety, motion/stability control and collision avoidance systems. On completing this qualification, technicians will have gained knowledge working safely, understanding a variety of technologies, and understanding the tools and equipment and environmental conditions when calibrating ADAS systems.

During the week you will complete both Level 2 and Level 3 to be awarded with the IMI Award in Advanced Driver Assistance.

Entry Requirements
Have appropriate vehicle maintenance and repair or mechanical, electrical and trim knowledge and skills at level 2.
Applicants for this course need to be, unemployed – looking for a role in the field, self-employed or looking for new employment. If you are employed and are upskilling, your employer may be asked to pay a contribution dependant on your circumstances.  This course is open to residents of Devon & Cornwall only.
