Knowing where to begin can be tricky with so much choice. Luckily we have 6 tips to help you to get the most out of your Open Event.

There are three programmes on offer; one for the city centre areas, and two for the Technology and Construction centres. These will be emailed to you (once you have pre-registered) on the week of the event. Register here.

Have a quick read of the programme to check where our locations are on the map, what activities are on offer, and to make sure you’re visiting the right sites for the courses that you’re interested in.

Traffic is often busy at this time of day and parking is limited. Please note there is no parking on College sites.

Travel by public transport if you can, and leave extra time to find parking.

Allowing for extra time on your journey will help you to have a calm frame of mind while you visit our campuses and absorb key information.

Our Welcome Team will be dressed in blue and are on hand to answer any of your questions.

For more in-depth guidance, visit the Hele Road building’s Student Services and Experience Hub to ask about travel, financial support, wellbeing, tutorial support, enrichment, and progression.

You don’t need to feel hemmed in by your original choice. If a course strikes your fancy during the Open Event, ask a member of the Welcome Team where you can go to find out more.

We have cafés serving complimentary refreshments at the majority of our sites. Take a break from the hustle and bustle and plan your next stop over a hot cuppa.

This guide will be your helpful point of reference, covering our entire offering. Make sure you get yours so that you can double-check course details.

If you haven’t already registered for the event, you can do so here. If you can’t come to an Open Event, you can contact our College Advice Team at 01392 400600 or at cat@exe-coll.ac.uk for bespoke advice.
