They could have just covered the bare minimum that the syllabus required; instead they covered bits of the A Level syllabus as well if they were appropriate to the students’ planned degrees. They were always approachable if I didn’t understand a particular concept, even if that concept was beyond the scope of the course, and would help to explain it to me.

I had a great time at Exeter College. All the staff were friendly, approachable and really went out of their way to help the Access students. The topics were explained and demonstrated in an engaging fashion that made it an enjoyable experience.

After I finished my Access course, I have started an integrated master’s in physics with Astrophysics at the University of Bath.”
