“I was keen to come along because I knew I wanted to write, but I didn’t want to write by myself. Joining the group has helped me to be braver with my writing. It’s something I enjoy, its uplifting. Writing in that room has helped me feel confident and brave. I’ve benefitted massively from being part of a creative community – if there’s one piece of encouragement I’d give to people it’s to become part of a community.”
