This course provides a refresher in science for those whose GCSE pass is over 5 years old. It is intended to supplement a previous GCSE for students wishing to progress to Access in Science (Biology and Chemistry) or Healthcare.

The Access course has been designed for those adults who feel they missed out on higher education when they were younger or would like a change of career. This pathway will develop your practical skills in both biology and chemistry, leading to career opportunities in a wide variety of science disciplines.
Please note: This course is one of our Extend Options designed to be combined with other A Level programmes or BTEC Extended Certificate courses to make up a full timetable. If you are planning to study an A Level programme at Exeter College you will need to enrol on a four element programme, and cannot apply for this course on it’s own.
