Spanish – Intermediate and Beyond

Our Spanish Intermediate and Beyond course is perfect for those with strong communication skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, both formally and informally. This three-part evening course helps you speak Spanish fluently and confidently, enabling discussions on current affairs like the environment, life stages, and cultural events in Spain and Hispanic America.

You will enhance your writing and reading skills by practicing topics such as the subjunctive mood, rules of courtesy, and connectors for expressing cause and consequence. This is complemented by advanced vocabulary exercises in listening and speaking.

Lessons are delivered in a fun and relaxing environment for highly motivated learners eager to continue mastering their Spanish skills.

This is a one-year course divided into three terms, held on Wednesdays from 18:30 to 20:30.

This course is ideal course is for Improvers, if you have already completed a beginner’s course of approximately 60 hours or our Spanish from Scratch and Spanish Next Steps courses. Higher levels of fluency and understanding are expected compared to beginners.

• Part 1 – Autumn Term: For those who have learnt the contents of Spanish from Scratch and Spanish Next Steps or for those with good level of communication skills and accuracy in speaking, listening, reading and writing, in both formal and informal registers
• Part 2 – Spring Term: For those who have already learnt the contents of Part 1 of Spanish Intermediate and Beyond (please see Overview).
• Part 3 – Summer Term: For those who have already learnt the contents of Part 2 of Spanish Intermediate and Beyond (please see Overview).
