This three term course is aimed at players with about 1 years’ experience, covering a range of skill levels. New students are welcome to join at the start of each term.

Through individual and group tuition, you’ll build on your existing abilities and explore new techniques in our informal, relaxed class. Just bring your own guitar and get ready to enjoy!

You’ll cover:

  • Strumming, Rhythm, and Timing: Master the essentials for a solid foundation.
  • Scales for Runs and Lead Playing: Learn how to navigate the fretboard with ease.
  • Chords: Understand how and why they work, and expand your chord vocabulary.
  • Fingerstyle Techniques: Add finesse and texture to your playing.
  • Plectrum Techniques: Improve your pick skills for greater versatility.
  • Instrumental Music Using Tablature: Play your favourite songs with ease.
  • Relevant Theory: Gain the knowledge to enhance your musical understanding.
