During the course day the following topic areas will be covered:
- Identifying and visualising goals, clients and specialist skills
- Naming your practice
- Legal, ethical and professional considerations and requirements
- Creating a business plan
- Setting up your therapeutic space
- Marketing and branding strategies
- Pricing and payments
- Developing and maintaining a client bas
- Entry Requirements

You must have a Qualification at diploma level or completed apprenticeship in your area of practice. E.g. (but not only) Level 3 Hairdressing. Level 4 Counselling etc

Learners will have access to all College facilities, including Learning Resource Centres (LRCs) and computers. This course is held at the Digital and Data Centre (IoT) on our Hele Road site. Please note that there is no available parking at city centre College sites. Charged parking is available in public car parks nearby.
