What is it like to study this course and how will I be assessed?

Through this course you will learn to make and cook vegan and vegetarian dishes with confidence.  We will aim to broaden your horizons and knowledge of the wide and varied culinaire delights available leaving you with lots of exciting dishes suitable for all occasions from dinner parties or light lunches. 

Training will be provided in an informative and supportive professional environment by our team of skilled professionals. There are no assessments or examinations taken during this programmes – all that is required is enthusiasm and passion for creating delicious dishes.

What facilities are there?

The Laurence Building boasts industry standard kitchens with professional equipment, alongside a newly built skills kitchen area.  The facilities and lecturers provide the best environment for you to learn.

What can the course lead on to?

You could undertake another catering course studying other regional dishes.

Are there any additional costs?

You will need to provide your own ingredients each week – details will be provided to you once enrolled.

It is important that you apply and pay for your course at least one week before the course starts to ensure that you will have access to all the facilities and resources in your first week.
Please be aware that there are no car parking facilities at Exeter College city centre sites, but public car parks are available across the city.
