Overview

We advise booking early to avoid disappointment. You can now book ahead online for all three terms.

New students are welcome to join at the start of each term.

You will develop existing skills and learn lots more through individual and group tuition. These include: scales, basic notation and tablature to learn melodies in an informal, relaxed class. You will need to bring your own guitar.

What topics will I study?

  • You will cover the following:
  • Developing skills in strumming, rhythm and timing
  • Scales for runs and lead playing
  • Chords – how and why they work
  • Fingerstyle techniques
  • Plectrum techniques
  • Instrumental music using tablature
  • Relevant theory
Entry Requirements

This is an intermediate course so you should have some experience of guitar playing.
