Amy Winehouse’s musicians to work with Exeter College students

TALENTED musicians from Exeter College’s Music Academy will have a chance to work with Amy Winehouse’s brass section as part of the Vibraphonic Festival.
The Haggis Horns are an eight-piece funk band who have performed and recorded with many top artists including Mark Ronson, Robbie Williams, Estelle, Lily Allen and Adele.

Exeter College Music Academy is hosting a workshop with the renowned jazz musicians at the Phoenix on Friday, 6th March, from 1.30-4pm.
Tickets are £6 or free to Music Academy students.

Music lecturer Laura Wright who organised the event said: “The band is made up of session musicians who have appeared with or recorded with a long list of famous names.

“This is a music academy event but is also open to members of the public.”
Exeter College Music Academy is also hosting a masterclass with world-famous guitarist John Etheridge at the Phoenix on April 6th.
