You will participate in workshops that help you to work effectively in a team to research and identify the most pressing environmental issues faced by our society. You will then develop an economic toolkit which you can apply to create a robust action plan. You will also develop you understanding of more modern, behavioural economics, policies to ‘nudge’ us all to make the right decisions to support a greener, more prosperous, future. You will learn how to effectively present a set of recommendations that are evidence based and well evaluated having considered the costs and benefits of what you propose.
How might it help in the future?
You will become more effective at researching, analysing problems and providing supported judgements. These skills will support you to succeed at A-Level and beyond. Your research and implementation plan will be far reaching fiving you relevant, topical, examples you can use in your university personal statement ad interviews.
