Exeter College’s exciting new student radio station, Spark Radio, was launched in 2013. The studio features industry standard equipment, allowing students to get a real taste of what it is like to work in radio. Open to all students, it is supported by partners in the local media and offers a fantastic opportunity to learn presentation and production skills and run your own radio shows!
Each faculty runs trips and visits as well as
cross college trips, such as the annual ski
trip. Many courses involve trips to develop
skills and provide experience. In recent
years, these have included local fieldwork
for geology students, court visits for law
students, trips to Berlin for history students,
New York or San Francisco for film studies
students and the Cheltenham races and
holiday parks for travel and tourism students.
