Overview

This Intermediate to Experienced course is suitable for those students to have existing clay sculpture skills.

This course is focussed on using clay to sculpt the human figure and head. For some sessions our life models may be clothed but are often nude.

Students are also welcome to work on their own projects in clay with support from the tutor. It may be possible for other techniques to be covered on an individual basis, according to the student’s requirements and within the realms of what is possible within the course time and the facilities Exeter College. The tutor will support students with individual advice and guidance whether working from life or on other projects.

The College will provide tools, clay, glazing and firing facilities.
