This course equips you with a wide range of knowledge, skills, and behaviours to prepare you for the Level 3 Business T Level in Management and Administration or Finance or an apprenticeship.

On this course you will:

• Study topics such as entrepreneurship, business organisation, stakeholders and market research, market types and orientation and marketing mix
• Learn about the sources of enterprise funding and business finance and business growth
• Find out what it takes to build successful business teams and manage projects
• Take part in work experience and business visits, as well as initiatives such as interview preparation and practical project management

Assessment: There is by one externally examined assessment and one non-exam assessment such as observation and practical assignment tasks.

Choose this course if…you are looking to gain knowledge in different aspects of business, with a keen ambition to work in a business environment.

Future Steps:You could go on to study a Level 3 course such as the Level 3 T Level in Management and Administration, Marketing or Accounting or Foundation Diploma in Business. Or you could apply for an apprenticeship or go into employment in an administration/business related role.

You will need five GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English Language and Maths. If you don’t have a grade 4 in English and Maths, you will be required to study for this alongside your course. You will also have an interest in a business related career such as personal assistant or medical secretary, retail or finance.

You will have access to all the College facilities, including a student restaurant, full media suite, gym and fully equipped Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
