I’d always been interested in construction and particularly liked the sound of reviewing and signing off on the architectural and engineering drawings of the houses. The job also meant I could earn money whilst working towards gaining a qualification - something that was important to me because I didn’t complete my A-Levels. It was fate!”

"I would really encourage others to study with Exeter College, it has been fantastic for me. I studied ESOL to improve my English, and then moved on to GCSE English and Access to Higher Education (Business) before starting a Foundation Degree in Business, all at Exeter College. The tutors at Exeter College are very patient, friendly and have helped me greatly on my learning journey. I will study for two more years and then I will do the top-up course and I may look to do further study at Exeter College. Access to HE was challenging but with the right support at College I progressed and everything was worth the hard work. I have met lots of really nice people on my courses too. My Business FdA course is giving me lots of skills, all the assignments are helping me a lot. I would 100% recommend Exeter College."
