What our students are saying

The best thing about college life has been meeting new people, making new friends and becoming a more confident person. The course I am studying currently is great. We get a lot of one to one time with our tutors and lecturers are always there to support if needed. It also works hand in hand with the sports academy allowing me that time to get away from the academic side to work on my own sports performance.

Shachar, Sport (Performance and Excellence) BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

I chose Exeter College mainly for the opportunities in rugby to play at a higher level (AASE league). You get a great bond quick and there is lot of banter that is thrown by both students and tutors. It’s friendly here and no one criticises you, they take you for who you are. I’m hoping to get a contract in rugby but if not then do a personal trainer course.

Linford, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport (Performance and Excellence) and Rugby Academy

My main achievements within college have been that was able to get all my current units grades to Distinction and hope to leave with a D*D*D* grade as well as this I have also completed my CYQ Fitness Instructor Level 2 … I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere shared between both tutors and students as well as the personalised training and study towards my own sport.

Ed, Sport (Performance and Excellence) BTEC Level 3

I would have to say the Sports Academy was the element of Exeter College that really stood out for me. The quality and support provided by the coaches was outstanding and this gave me real direction and guidance in my ultimate goal of being a professional rugby player.
