“After completing my T-Level placement, I was offered to stay here at Lineal full-time and complete a degree apprenticeship. I am now just over half way through my degree apprenticeship with the University of Exeter: “BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solution”.

Whilst my T-Level (Digital Production, Design & Development) subject isn’t directly related to my role as a Cyber Security Specialist, it empowered with me skills that have enhanced what I am able to do within my role. For example, my T-Level built my skills with Python development which I have then been able to use within my role to improve our efficiency and deliver an enhanced service to our customers that we wouldn’t have been able to do without the skills I built during my T-Level.

The biggest thing, for me, that attracted me to completing a T-Level was the work placement: being able to see and experience the link between classroom-based theory and the real world application. Naturally, I’ve always been driven to understand how whatever I’m learning in the classroom is relevant to the real world and how it benefits people & organisations – a T-Level is the perfect vehicle to deliver that message and allowed me to explore that myself.”
