What do I need to bring?

  • Evidence of meeting any entry requirements for your course (GCSEs, BTECs and any others)
  • Your National Insurance Number (NIN)
  • If you are not a UK national, please bring your Share Code and your passport or national ID card associated to your UKVI account; we may need to ask to view this information before enrolling you.
  • Evidence of your individual income if the course you are joining is eligible for a Low Wage concession

What to expect…

  • Adult enrolment will take place from 3-6pm
  • Your appointment will take from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on whether it also includes an interview
  • Please come to the front of the Centre for Creative Industries (CCI) Building, off Queen Street, EX4 3SR, and one of our team will welcome you
  • If your invite states you must attend an interview before enrolling, this will take place at the time included in your invite (If you are offered a place, your enrolling lecturer will complete all the necessary paperwork with you)
  • If you have already received an offer, we will complete all necessary paperwork with you 
  • You will continue your enrolment process next door at the Sports Hall, where you will receive your student card and have the opportunity to speak to our range of support services for Adult learners
  • There will be free tea and coffee

What support and information will be available on the day?

  • Adult Advice Zone – Advice and guidance if you have changed your mind or need to look at alternative options (located in the CCI building)
  • Financial Support – Get advice or apply for financial support
  • Student Experience – Find out more about the support we can offer and chat to us if you have any questions or concerns
  • Learning Support – Find out about additional support we may be able to provide while you are attending College
