“After many years working in Law, I was given an opportunity to teach Law A level, and this is something the College is sponsoring me through so that I have a teaching qualification as well. We learn how important it is to bring active learning into the classroom, and we do a lot of academic reading around that as part of the course but also lots of practical, hands-on microteaching, so we gain day-to-day skills as well.
