Do you have a passion to learn? If you aspire to work in the engineering industry, then the T Level Engineering Academy is the perfect place to start.

This Academy is delivered in partnership with HepcoMotion, a world-leading manufacturer of linear motion systems and automation components.  

The T Level Engineering Academy is based at the Technology Centre, a world class centre which provides aerospace, engineering and automotive students with state of the art equipment and learning spaces.

What experiences will I get?

Students will benefit from a minimum of 40 days of industry placement, a mentor programme, site visits and specially selected sessions delivered at the College by HepcoMotion. 

You will be taught in a dedicated academy room and will be provided with a HepcoMotion polo shirt. 


How do I apply?

You can apply online. You will be invited for an interview at HepcoMotion between enrolment and the start of term at College. 

What are the entry criteria?

There will initially be fourteen places available with interviews being conducted at HepcoMotion in Tiverton. 

You will need six GCSEs at grade 4 or above (including English Language, Science and Maths). Learners progressing from a Level 2 course will need a BTEC Level 2 Certificate or equivalent with a good Merit profile, along with English, Science and Maths GCSE at grade 4 or above. 

What does the interview involve?

An informal chat will be held at HepcoMotion in Tiverton to discuss, amongst other things: 

  • Your interest in the industry 
  • Passion for the job 
  • Future career plans

There is no additional fee for the T Level Engineering Academy.
