Learn to ask for and provide basic information and hold conversations in various settings while visiting French-speaking countries. Through tutor presentations, role plays, and plenty of practice, you’ll focus on speaking and understanding in practical situations. Work on your own, in pairs, or in small groups, and progress at your own pace. Additional homework activities are available if you want to practice more. Join us to build your confidence in speaking French and enhance your communication skills.

• Identifying yourself and others
• Asking and answering questions about where you live, your family and nationality
• making enquires at a tourist office
• Understanding a café menu and ordering drinks and snacks
• Booking accommodation in a hotel and asking about facilities
• Ordering food in a restaurant
• Shopping for food in a market
• Buying tickets and travelling by train
• Finding your way around a French town

No prior knowledge is required – this course is perfect for complete beginners. All Leisure Courses are for adults aged 19+
