This skills bootcamp programme is aimed at individuals in self-employed consultative roles who want to support other businesses in setting direction, governance, oversight, and the safe implementation of AI within their organisation; and/or those individuals seeking their next leadership career, seeking employment who want to upskill in AI to make them more employable. You will develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand AI capabilities and limitations, identify and evaluate opportunities, and lead the effective integration of AI into organisational processes and transformation initiatives.

Unit 1: AI Strategy and Opportunity – establishing the strategic foundations of AI leadership; assessing organisational readiness, identifying credible opportunities, and developing a defensible AI strategy.

  • Plan It – Identify where AI adds value:
  • Identify credible AI opportunities
  • Assess viability, risk and oversight
  • Develop a defensible AI strategy

Unit 2: AI Delivery and Organisational Transformation – delivering AI in live organisations: planning, change, piloting, ethics and evaluation for scale

  • Make it happen – deliver and embed AI at scale:
  • Plan delivery and manage change
  • Pilot, iterate and engage stakeholders
  • Evaluate outcomes and scale responsibly

Learners apply each week’s content directly to a real workplace context, focusing where possible on an AI initiative their organisation is planning, piloting, or has recently approved. Weekly sessions contribute to sequential milestones, with the same context and initiative maintained throughout the unit to support consistent, applied evidence.

Final deliverables for each unit are in the form of a 15 page (approx.) portfolio showing the research and practical application they have been working on.
