Overview

This course is designed for adults who are looking for an introduction to the basics of Bench joinery. You will learn a range of different joints as well as developing your hand skills to be able to plane timber, cut and fix joints, chisel and drill timber as well as developing knowledge skills and confidence using a variety of hand tools, materials and equipment. All equipment and materials are provided.

Entry Requirements

None, all welcome. All students on construction courses are recommended to have their own safety boots/shoes and work clothes.
All Leisure Courses are for adults aged 19+

Facilities

This course takes place at the Construction Centre (Falcon House, Falcon Road, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, Devon, EX2 7LB) that offers excellent workshop facilities and practical training space for all of the construction and building services courses.
