Overview

The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations – Site Carpentry qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work as a Site Carpenter within the construction industry.

Entry Requirements

GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or can demonstrate a suitable level of competence in these subjects). You will need to be 19 years or older and employed.

Facilities

Dedicated workshops, classrooms and Learning Resource Centre. There is also an on-site café.

Additional Costs

You will need to provide your own safety boots and work trousers or overalls.
