This course has several starting dates throughout the year, please apply at an early stage.
The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations – site carpentry qualification is aimed at adults with at least five years trade experience who are working within the industry already but who do not have a carpentry qualification. This course does not require you to attend College – instead, you will be assigned an assessor who will arrange to visit you in your workplace and collect the required workplace evidence. You will have 2 years to collect all of the evidence that is required.
The course is aimed at learners who have been carrying out carpentry at work but don’t have a formal qualification.

You will need to complete a skill scan to ensure you are covering a range of work.
You will need to be currently employed in a carpentry role.
