GCSE Courses

We offer GCSEs to adults in English, Maths and Biology. This can be the perfect stepping stone to an Access course, or kick start the change in career you’ve always dreamed of. English and Maths are offered FREE to adults who don’t already have a C grade or above.

Higher Technical Education

We offer a range of Level 4, 5 (such as HNDs and Foundation Degrees) and some Level 6 (degree level qualifications, taught here in Exeter. Our courses have been developed in partnership with awarding bodies, employers and businesses.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

Do you want to improve your English Language skills?

English courses are available at all levels from beginners to advanced, and there are dedicated short courses to help you prepare for international exams. We also offer a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA)


Teacher Training

Exeter College delivers a full range of teacher training and assessor training. The qualifications are mostly based on practice; this means that for most of the qualifications you need to already be working in the sector.
