What do I need to bring?
- Evidence of your exam results (GCSEs, BTECs and any others)
- Your National Insurance Number (NIN)
- If you are not a UK national, please bring your Share Code and your passport or national ID card associated to your UKVI account; we may need to ask to view this information before enrolling you.
- If an employer is paying or contributing to your course fees, please bring your completed Employer Authorisation Form


What to expect…
- Please come to the Learning Resource Centre to the right-hand side of Main Reception (Hele Road Site, EX4 4JS) and one of our team will welcome you
- We will check your grades and evidence of application for your Student Loan (if applicable), and complete all necessary paperwork for you to enrol
- If you are self-funding your course, we will take payment for 50% of the fees
- You will receive your student card
- There will be a break for lunch – you can eat on the premises or go out for lunch
- After lunch, we will have our Induction process with an introduction to College, Wraparound support for Adults and Apprentices, and Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) information. Your specific course induction will take place with your tutor on your first day.
- We will offer free tea and coffee and light refreshments
What support and information will be available on the day?
- Adult Advice Zone – Advice and guidance if you have changed your mind or need to look at alternative options.
- Student Experience – Find out more about the support we can offer and chat to us if you have any questions or concerns.
- Disabled Students’ Allowance
- Discount cards available to Exeter College students include: TOTUM, Unidays, Student Beans.

Where does Higher Education Enrolment take place?
HE Enrolment takes place at our Institute of Technology, also known as Digital and Data Centre. This is in our Main Hele Road site, EX4 4JS.
Please note we have NO onsite car parking available at the College.
I can’t attend my appointment, what should I do?
To enrol at college, you MUST attend an enrolment appointment in person.
Please contact our HE Office, as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment, so we can liaise with your Programme Manager to enrol you on an alternative date

I’ve changed my mind about my course
Please contact our Adult Advice Team as soon as possible so we can support you with your next steps to apply for a different Exeter College course; this could be directly or via Clearing.

We will have Adult Advisers on hand to discuss options. You can also call our Adult Advice Team on 01392 400170.
I need to change my preferred name/email/address?
You will have the opportunity to make changes to your personal details at enrolment.
I have decided not to come to Exeter College
