Our Skills Bootcamp in Construction Digital Solutions is aimed at those currently working in a construction, architecture or civil engineering role. It aims to upskill and provide CPD hours.

This comprehensive construction-focused digital solutions course introduces learners to the principles of digital transformation, BIM, and Industry 4.0 before building core technical skills across leading platforms. Participants progress from creating accurate 2D drawings in AutoCAD to developing intelligent 2D/3D parametric models in Revit, supported by an understanding of data formats, Common Data Environments, and cloud-based collaboration tools such as BIM 360.

The programme expands into advanced digital workflows, including Dynamo scripting for process automation, and explores sustainability-driven applications like embodied-carbon analysis and energy modelling. Learners also gain insight into modern site management technologies—including 4D/5D BIM, digital twins, and AR/VR—while industry guest speakers highlight real-world innovation.

The course culminates in a capstone project where participants integrate their skills through hands-on project work, presentations, and peer review.

The learning outcomes for the bootcamp are:

  1. Understand the role of digital tools in modern construction.
  2. Create and modify construction drawings using AutoCAD.

  4. Automate repetitive tasks and enhance productivity using visual programming.
  5. Use digital tools to assess and improve sustainability in design.
  6. Apply digital tools for planning, sequencing, and site visualisation.
  7. Analyse successful digital construction projects and lessons learnt.
  8. Apply learnt skills to a simulated project scenario.
  9. Apply learnt skills to a simulated project scenario.

At the end of the 10 weeks, you will be assessed by a Final Project and a presentation.
