Centre for Rugby

This brand new Centre for Rugby hosts an all-weather pitch which will be in use seven days a week. Welcoming not only Exeter College students and the Exeter Chiefs, but also local clubs such as Exeter Athletic, Topsham RFC, and Exeter Saracens, who will now have access to a top-tier training and matchday surface.

This community facility represents a shared vision of excellence, inclusivity, and sustainability in sport, from a powerful collaboration between Exeter College, Exeter City Council, the Rugby Football Union (RFU), and Exeter Chiefs, 

This facility is a major step forward in the College’s long-standing commitment to community sport. It’s about giving every young person, from grassroots to elite level, the chance to participate, progress, and belong, and serves as a shining example of sport’s ability to unite and uplift.

In addition we also have Exwick Sports Pavilion which features playing fields, rugby and football pitches, including a full size 3G astroturf pitch and tennis facilities. In the City Centre we have a high specification, purpose built Sports Hall including a well equipped fitness centre and dance studio. The Sports Hall, Gym and Dance Studio consists of a six badminton court space, two classrooms and a specialised fully equipped sports therapy room.
