- Why do this course?
-
Learners will explore the causes of global warming, including greenhouse gas emissions and human activity, alongside the consequences for ecosystems, communities, and economies worldwide. The session will include tasks such as analysing real-world case studies, discussing potential solutions, and considering how individuals, governments, and businesses can respond to the climate crisis. By linking global issues to local action, students will gain a clearer understanding of the challenges society faces and the importance of sustainability. The activity encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, while helping learners reflect on their own role in tackling climate change. Accessible to all learners with an interest in the natural environment, it gives an insight into one of today’s most urgent issues.
