An opportunity to examine and explore news stories and events in detail, looking beyond the headlines and scrutinising them from different perspectives.
Mooting – Extend Option

Mooting is a dynamic, court-style activity where students take on the role of barristers to argue a legal case in front of a “judge.” In this Extend, learners will be introduced to the structure of a moot, explore how to build persuasive arguments, and practise presenting confidently under timed conditions.
Climate Change – Extend Option

This Access to HE Humanities and Social Science programme aims to provide a firm foundation for study of a range of subjects at degree level. Study skills and educational guidance form essential parts of the course.
