Students paint faces for festive fundraiser

Students from the Work Skills Apex course at Exeter College have been getting in to the festive mood by painting students' faces and hands to raise money for the college's student charity of the year, Children's Hospice South West.

As part of a project about “developing yourself”, the students carried out research into the cost of materials and designs, purchased the goods and set up a room as well as advertising the event across the college. They worked as a team to run the event and each took responsibility for one element. Jack Michael Barlow, one of the students on the course, said that the best thing about the project was researching the materials.
