Overview

As with the Beginners course you will follow a scheme of work with different themes each week.

You will produce a body of work through the term and, as with the Beginners, homework is set and read aloud each week. Peer evaluation is very useful, and a class anthology is produced at the end of the term.

  • Autumn term: 02/10/19 to 04/12/19 – Mint Methodist Church – Wednesday (daytime) – 12.30-14.30
  • Spring term: 15/01/20 to 18/03/20 – Mint Methodist Church – Wednesday (daytime) – 12.30-14.30
  • Spring term: 15/01/20 to 18/03/20 – Victoria House – Wednesday (evening) – 18.30-20.30

 

Entry Requirements

It is useful, but not mandatory, to have completed the Beginners course. It is more important that you enjoy words and would welcome sharing ideas with other learners.

Facilities

Learners will be given a college ID badge and have access to all college facilities, including learning centres and computers.
