Creative Writing – Fiction (Intermediate)

This course is designed for those who have completed the Beginners course, and those who are already writing but are looking for further guidance.

Course Information

Overview

We advise booking early to avoid disappointment. You can now book ahead online for all three terms.

As with the Beginners course you will follow a scheme of work with different themes each week.

You will produce a body of work through the term and, as with the Beginners, homework is set and read aloud each week. Peer evaluation is very useful, and a class anthology is produced at the end of the term.

Next steps: The course is structured to provide flexible writing opportunities that will meet your needs as your skills develop, so you could return to this course.

Entry Requirements

It is useful, but not mandatory, to have completed the Beginners course. It is more important that you enjoy words and would welcome sharing ideas with other learners.

Facilities

Learners will be given a College ID badge and have access to all College facilities, including Learning Resource Centres and computers.
