Topics include:

  • Understanding the communication that enables the voice of the child, young person or family members to be heard
  • The importance of actively promoting respect, equality, diversity and inclusion
  • How to work together with children, young people and families to keep them safe, manage risk and promote the development of skills the family need to successfully manage risk themselves

  • Learning to demonstrate a critical evaluation of practice, including insight into your own emotions, behaviour and feelings
