Overview

There will be opportunities to practise different parts of the Cambridge First Certificate exam. You will get feedback during lessons and advice will be given on when and where the exam can be taken.

If you are not already studying English at Exeter College, assessment of level is strongly recommended to make sure the course is a suitable level.

What topics will I study?

This course is aimed at learners wishing to prepare for the Cambridge First Certificate exam.

Next steps: 

Learners can progress to other ESOL classes at Level 2 or to other adult classes at Exeter College.

Entry Requirements

Learners should be at ESOL Level 1 or higher. To apply for these courses you will need to be aged 19 or above on 31st August 2018. This is a part time course with a lot of self-study at home, so it can be taken by anyone living in Devon, not just in the Exeter area.

You will have access to the Learning Centres.

The course fee includes a course book but it does not include the exam fee.
