More and more these days employers look to social media to find out information about potential applicants to their post. Creating a good Linkedin profile is a great way to introduce yourself to organisations and keep abreast of job vacancies, as well as finding out what is going on in the field that you are interested in. Once you have created your profile it is also important to know how to manage it and what to write so that you can increase the engagement on that profile. Join recruitment specialists Cathedral Appointment, Exeter College Apprenticeship team and a LinkedIn Expert to gain an understanding of how recruiters use LinkedIn to find certain candidates and the importance of keeping your social media private.

Workshop 3 – Wednesday 26th August 2pm – 3pm

We can all look great on paper, but how do we shine at an interview? There are lots of interview skills, techniques, hints and tips out there, but let’s see how it is really done – LIVE! Join our interview session and watch mock interviews between recruitment experts Cathedral Appointments and Exeter College Apprenticeship Team! See the types of questions that you can expect and even the curve balls that could come your way! Listen to the feedback from Employers on how we did and hear first-hand what they look for in a good candidate at interview.

Workshop 4 – Wednesday 2nd September 2pm – 3pm

Our final workshop will bring everything together and look at transferrable skills. We all have these but how do we know which ones to shout about? This session will provide you with a suite of tools such as cover letters, personal statements and focus on how to successfully apply for vacancies.
