What is it like to study this course and how will I be assessed?

This is an introductory course for beginners where you will learn the essential techniques needed to create a screen print. To start with, a small stencil project is used to guide you through each stage of the process. You can then design and make your own project using an exposed screen, either on fabric or a paper print. The tutor will guide you in creating a design and selecting materials to make it. The aim of the teaching is to be flexible and responsive to your needs rather than just working with set designs.

You will be guided through each stage of making a basic set project at first and then you will research and design a project of your own. This project may be completed by the end of the term or continued during the following term. Informal assessment.

This six week course is being run in each term on a Wednesday evening at the Victoria Yard studios in Exeter.

There are further dates throughout the year - please contact us for information or visit the website again from September 2019.
