What is it like to study this course and how will I be assessed?

You will strengthen and develop your knowledge of middle management by focusing on key management principles. You will develop or sharpen your professional edge and enhance personal effectiveness. You will evaluate the impact of an organisation’s structure and governance on management and leadership. Plus explore theoretical models, management and leadership styles and approaches designed to promote a culture of mutual trust, respect and support.

What are the entry requirements?

Five GCSEs at Grade C (or Grade 4) and above although other relevant or prior work experience may also be considered as an alternative. Learners will need to have access to a PC with internet connection to access online resources and complete assignments.

What facilities are there?

All learners attending the course will have access to an online classroom which contains resources to support unit delivery as well as gaining CMI membership allowing them to use the CMI ManagementDirect library of resources.

What can the course lead on to?

Upon successful completion of their qualification, learners are able to progress to further learning within the suite of Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership - i.e. completing an Award and topping-up to Certificate or Diploma.

Learners may also wish to further their ongoing personal and professional development by accessing other CMI qualifications, such as the CMI Level 6 Qualifications in Management and Leadership with the goal of becoming a Chartered Manager.
