What is it like to study this course and how will I be assessed?

For complete beginners with no prior knowledge or those who wish to brush up their skills.  You will learn the language you need for basic survival in Italian speaking countries, including how to ask for and give basic information and short conversations in a variety of settings.

What topics will I study?

You will build on your knowledge and skills enabling you to cope with more challenging everyday situations. 

What are the entry requirements?

This course if for people who have complete a Beginner's course or who have some previous basic knowledge equivalent to one year of study.

What facilities are there?

Learners will be given a college ID badge and have access to all college facilities, including learning centres and computers. 

What can the course lead on to?

You could progress on to the next two parts of the Italian Intermediate course.

Are there any additional costs?

There is no course book, but students are recommended to buy a good grammar book and a bilingual dictionary.
