Overview

An inspiring 5 week course on the art of hairdressing. This course will provide an insight into the skills and techniques used within this industry.

You will study this programme through a range of activities, discussion and practical tasks that will over the following areas: –Teaching and learning methods

  • Styling / Hair-up
  • Setting
  • Shampooing, massaging techniques
  • Introduction to consultation
  • Styling men’s hair / introduction to skin fades

Career options and progression

The course could reinforce your interest in pursuing a career in hairdressing or barbering and you may wish to enrol onto one of our part-time courses and undertake a qualification e.g. Level 2 Diploma in Women’s & Men’s Hairdressing (Certificate in Hairdressing) or Level 2 Certificate in Barbering (Award in Barbering)

Entry Requirements

None – anyone with an interest in hairdressing and those who have contemplated a qualification in the hairdressing but would like to try an introductory course in the first instance. Please enrol online using the button in the blue box.
