What is it like to study this course and how will I be assessed?
This course is aimed at candidates who have previously achieved a level 2 automotive qualification and wish to progress through a technical certificate which can be used for entry onto MOT training. This is a lifetime qualification and has no expiry.
You will study for two days per week covering diagnostic principles accessing the faculty’s range of equipment and resources which are of industry standard.
You will be assessed through a variety of methods to include practical assessment of simulated faults on vehicles as well as external multi choice online assessment.
*This course is eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan. Level 3 and 4 courses for those aged 19 and over (on the date you start a course) no longer receive Government funding so the learner is responsible for the full cost of the course.
